Welcome to Notifieddit. By accessing or using our Reddit monitoring and notification service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading our mobile app, or accessing our website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use Notifieddit.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Notifieddit. By using our service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

2. Description of Service

Notifieddit is a Reddit monitoring service that provides:

• Keyword monitoring across specified subreddits
• User activity tracking for specific Reddit users
• Real-time push notifications to iOS and Android devices
• Advanced filtering options (regex, case-sensitive matching, exclusion rules)
• Notification history and management
• Quiet hours and Do Not Disturb scheduling

We monitor publicly available Reddit content using Reddit's official API. We do not access private messages, private subreddits you don't have access to, or any content that requires special permissions.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To use Notifieddit, you must create an account. When creating an account:

• You must provide accurate and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• You are responsible for all activities under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• You may not share your account with others
• You may not create multiple accounts to bypass service limitations

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

4.1 Free Tier

The Free tier includes limited features and may have delays in notification delivery. Free tier usage is subject to fair use policies and may be restricted if abused.

4.2 Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via Stripe:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You will be charged at the start of each billing period
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time
• Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle
• Upgrades take effect immediately with prorated billing

4.3 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial billing periods
• Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation
• Free tier limitations apply after subscription ends

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Notifieddit responsibly and ethically. You may NOT:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or Reddit's Terms of Service
• Use the service for harassment, stalking, or monitoring individuals without consent
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble our software
• Use automated tools to abuse or overload our systems
• Resell or redistribute our service without permission
• Use the service to collect data for commercial purposes without authorization
• Interfere with other users' use of the service
• Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code

6. Service Availability and Limitations

We strive to provide reliable service, but:

• Service availability is not guaranteed
• Notification delivery depends on third-party services (Reddit API, Expo, etc.)
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
• Reddit API limitations may affect monitoring capabilities
• Notification delays may occur due to factors beyond our control
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue features

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Notifieddit and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Reddit content belongs to Reddit and its users. We provide notifications about public Reddit content but do not claim ownership of that content.

8. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of the keywords, preferences, and other data you provide to Notifieddit. By using our service, you grant us a license to use this data solely to provide our services. We will not use your data for any other purpose without your consent.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

DISCLAIMER: Notifieddit is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of notifications

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or opportunities, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, arising out of your use of Notifieddit.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Notifieddit, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of others.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Your account poses a security risk
• We are required to do so by law
• We discontinue the service

Upon termination, your right to use Notifieddit will immediately cease. We will retain your data according to our Privacy Policy and data retention policies.

12. Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Email notification to your registered email address
• Prominent notice on our website or mobile app
• In-app notification

Your continued use of Notifieddit after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the service and cancel your account.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Notifieddit shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Notifieddit regarding your use of the service.
